Delivery
Delivery is the biggest COD lever — 30% RTO on one carrier vs. 12% on another can decide whether you're profitable at all. CODBrain integrates with the couriers you use (Sendit, OzonExpress, ForceLog, Amex, BMD, Aymakan, and more), auto-routes orders based on rules, and reconciles the COD payouts they send back. This is where the biggest short-term wins usually hide — sellers switch carriers on 20% of their routes and see 5-15 percentage points of RTO improvement within a month.

What this module does
- Multi-carrier integration — push orders to Sendit, OzonExpress, Amex, Aymakan, BMD, ForceLog, Cathedis, Tawsilex, Digylog, or manual.
- Delivery rules — auto-select the right carrier per city / product / order value.
- Real-time status sync via each carrier's webhook — no polling, no stale statuses.
- Per-carrier performance dashboard — RTO rate, transit days, cost per delivery.
- Wire-transfer reconciliation — carrier payout lines auto-match to delivered orders.
- Stuck-in-transit alerts — flag orders that haven't moved in N days.
Key features
How this changes your business
Different carriers on the same route can vary 5–20 percentage points in RTO rate. Picking the right one per city / SKU adds directly to your bottom line, no marketing spend needed.
Automating the "which carrier gets this order" decision plus bulk pushing removes the biggest daily bottleneck for operations teams under 10 people.
MENA carriers routinely under-report COD by 2–5%. Reconciling every payout against the orders it covers catches every discrepancy — money you would otherwise never see.
Real-time webhook sync means customers, agents, and finance all see the same live status — no more "let me call the carrier and get back to you".
Getting started
- 1Connect your primary carrier under Settings → Delivery providers.
- 2Set up your delivery rules — cheapest carrier for X cities, fastest for Y products, etc.
- 3Enable auto-push on "confirmed" so operations stops touching individual orders.
- 4Register the status-update webhook so tracking is real-time.
- 5Connect a second carrier as backup so the delivery-rules engine can fail over.
- 6Enter your negotiated per-city fees to make the profitability math accurate.
- 7Every Monday, review the carrier scorecard — kill the one dragging you down.
- 8Print daily manifest for pickup — carrier drivers appreciate structured handoffs.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Single-carrier dependency. When they have a bad week, your whole business does.
- Not entering per-city fees. You can't know real per-order profit if you don't know the delivery cost.
- Not registering webhooks. Polling every 15 minutes = orders show up hours after they're actually delivered.
- Ignoring stuck-in-transit alerts. A parcel that hasn't moved in 5 days is 90% likely to RTO — cheaper to cancel proactively.
Advanced tips
- A/B test two carriers on the same route for 2 weeks. RTO delta will surprise you — often the "cheaper" one is more expensive after returns.
- Set a delivery rule for "high-value orders" that forces the best carrier regardless of cost. Losing a $200 order = many $50 orders.
- Contact stuck-in-transit customers proactively (WhatsApp). Half of them will still take delivery if you show up first.
- Weekly carrier scorecard review + monthly rate negotiation. The best sellers renegotiate every 90 days.
Never rely on a single carrier. When one has a bad week (system down, strike, weather), you flip to the backup. The delivery-rules engine handles the failover for you — set it up in advance. Businesses that rely on one carrier lose 3-5% of monthly revenue every time that carrier has a bad week.
